THE FREE BOOTH PLAYBOOK
Before the doors open,
try the whole handoff.
Six small checks for a calmer booth and a more useful follow-up.
Use it with Event Wheel or your existing booth setup.01 / BEFORE, DURING & AFTER
The prize table
Count the actual stock. Give every prize a clear name, review the odds, and decide where visitors collect it. Enter costs if you want a useful budget report.
02 / BEFORE, DURING & AFTER
The first hello
Ask only what the team will use. Keep marketing consent optional and unchecked. Decide what a qualified conversation means before the room gets busy.
03 / BEFORE, DURING & AFTER
The team handoff
Assign staff to the right event. Choose who collects codes and who owns the next conversation. Keep private collection codes out of public displays and posts.
04 / BEFORE, DURING & AFTER
The dress rehearsal
Try the actual tablet, staff phone, and display. Practice a collection, an already-used code, the last item, and a lost connection. Live awards need internet.
05 / BEFORE, DURING & AFTER
The invitation
Print a readable QR with a clear invitation. Use separate named links for the booth, a partner, and social posts if you want to compare where visitors came from.
06 / BEFORE, DURING & AFTER
The moment after
Add a short note while the conversation is fresh. Reconcile collections, qualify contacts, and assign follow-up owners. Review each exact email before approving it.
Take a useful debrief home.
Record completed spins, distinct contacts, explicit opt-ins, collections, current qualification, and entered costs. Keep example data labeled. A qualified contact is a team judgment; a delivered email is not proof of a sale or a read.
